Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump criticized Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton Sunday for “playing the woman’s card.”

Appearing on “Fox and Friends Weekend,” Trump continued firing shots across the bow of the former secretary of state and her husband, former President Bill Clinton.

Trump defended a tweet he sent Saturday, saying he believes Bill Clinton is “fair game” to criticize in the race.

“I think he is fair game because his presidency was really considered to be very troubled, to put it mildly, because of all of the things that’s she talking to me about,” Trump said in the phone interview.

“She’s got to be careful, you know, she’s got to be fair,” he said, “and we all have to fight fairly, and we have to fight for the good of the country, for the good of the people, for the good of everybody. But we have to fight fairly.”

“She’s playing the woman’s card, and it’s like ‘Give me a break,'” Trump added.
